There is no default control panel installed on your server. We offer Plesk. Contact sales@iboza.com for more information. New customers can request a control panel when signing up for a new server.

The 95th Percentile method is used to determine your bandwidth usage. In order to calculate the traffic rate for which you will be billed, we measure your usage every five minutes, 24 hours a day, for each day of the month. Each five-minute reading, also called a 'sample', contains the number of bytes transferred in or out. Let's say, for example, that you transmit 86MB of traffic in a five-minute period then we will convert that into a rate of 2.293Mb/sec for that sample. We will collect all samples for a given period and sort them (there will be 8,640 five-minute samples in a 30-day month). Then we ignore the highest five percent of those samples i.e. in our example this means that the top 432 samples will not apply to your bill. In other words in a 30 day billing period, you can 'burst' for 36 hours. The value of the next highest sample after discarding the highest five percent of samples will become the 95th percentile value for the given billing period at which your account will be charged.

Yes. The servers on our website are pre-configured server plans. You can customize these plans according to your specific needs. We can even vitualize your existing server.

There are no restrictions with regard to operating systems. We install a limited number of operating systems ourselves (FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Debian, CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu and Microsoft operating systems), and we also provide you the opportunity to supply your own operating system and install it using an IP KVM interface. This is not possible for our 'Express servers'. 'Express servers' are pre-installed and have a uniform configuration.

Once you place your order, we will ensure that your server is deployed as quickly as possible. 'Express Servers' are deployed within 3 business days. All other servers are deployed within 3-5 business days.

Iboza.com installs your operating system and the main software packages (on request). However, we cannot implement any additional software products outside of our standard service. For example, we support Apache, PHP, MySQL and several other basic packages. Most customers with a dedicated server can install these packages themselves, with their own configuration and security restrictions.

Iboza.com owns and maintains the server hardware. This means that our employees are responsible for repairing or replacing the server in the case of a hardware failure. Please note: some hardware failures can result in loss of data. In such cases, our employees may have to reinstall the operating system to return the server back to its original state. If this is not covered by an SLA (Service Level Agreement), the customer is responsible for making backups of his/her data and system configuration.

Certainly. You can upgrade your server plan at any time. Hardware upgrades are not possible for our 'Express servers'. 'Express servers' are preinstalled and have a uniform hardware configuration.

The customer is responsible for making backups of his/her data and system configuration. You can also subscribe to our optional backup service. This service provides storage space for backups on our backup NAS.

You do not even need to contact one of our staff members for this. You can manage the state of your servers directly from your customer control panel. You can cycle the virtual on and off as needed.

You can host an unlimited number of websites, but make sure that the server is not overloaded with more websites than it can handle. How much it can handle depends on the specifications of the server and the type of websites you wish to host on it. Our entry model can easily handle around 100 average websites.
