In 1998 Iboza.com started business in Barrie Ontario. We quickly out grew the first 2 offices and eventually located in Barrie's mid-town at Cedar Pointe Commercial Park. In 2003 the decision was made to begin hosting customer websites in-house. Up to that point the hosting had been out-sourced.
We didn't make the decision easily, it meant restructuring the business, investing time, effort and funds in equipment and expertise. We had a real need to house client websites in-house; this was to allow us the freedom to develop website applications where we had "full control" over the hosting environment.

In 2008 Iboza was chosen to develop and deploy an online e-commerce application for a mult-national retail outlet. This particular company had hosting needs that were slightly out of reach of our hosting environment at that time. To meet the needs of this customer, Iboza under took a complete re-vamp / upgrade of the entire hosting division. The upgrade included a move to a high-security data centre...enter PEER 1.

The consultants at PEER1 where very responsive and accommodating. They understood that the move from our facility to theirs represented a giant leap forward and were there to help when it counted.

Moving our hosting infrastructure to Toronto was the best decision. The facility is located close enough that it is within easy reach should the need arise to make physical changes or maintenance to the systems. On the other hand, with multi-homing, 3 way power back-up, high security, redundant infrastructure and their 24/7 NOC support Iboza and our customers have the peace of mind knowing we're located in the best facility possible.
